Abstract submissions are welcome for for the 14th WORLD CONGRESS ON NEUROHYPOPHYSIAL HORMONES (WCNH 2024), which will be held in Atlanta, GA (USA) on May 16 - 19, 2024.

 

 

  1. The Presenting Author must submit the abstract and is required to be the corresponding author for that abstract

  2. You are required to register for the conference in order to submit the abstract

    * Poster Board Dimensions: 48"W x 96H" *

 

 

It is ESSENTIAL that you read the guidelines below before you submit. Abstracts which do not adhere to the guidelines will not be considered.  

 

Who submits the abstract?
The Presenting Author must submit the abstract and will act as the main point of contact for the abstract with organizers.  You will receive a confirmation of receipt email within 48 business hours of submission.

 

Abstract template

Title may be up to 20 words. Abstracts must be formatted using the WCNH 2024 template (MS Word document above).  

 

Notification of acceptance or rejection

When notified of acceptance, the Presenting Author is required to accept the offer via email.  If the presenting author has not registered, the abstract will not be accepted. 

What happens if Presenting Author does not register by deadline?

The abstract will be removed from the WCNH program and all related publications.

In submitting an abstract, the Presenting Author agrees to be available to present at the conference between May 16-19, 2024.     

What if I need to withdraw the abstract or change the presenting author?
Please email cncd@gsu.edu as soon as you are aware of the need to change.

The Presenting Author agrees and understands the following:

The text of the abstract, along with the names and affiliations, poster and/or additional documents as requested, will be published on the conference website, in the abstract document and on the conference app, etc. and this will not raise any copyright issues.

Presenters may be recorded for live streaming. A recording of the presentation and a copy of the slides may be published online after the conference.

Are travel awards available?

Yes, please see information below.

Four Glenn I. Hatton Memorial Travel Awards ($1000 each) will be presented for travel to WCNH 2024 in Atlanta GA for meritorious students (2) or postdocs (2) studying the neurobiology of vasopressin and oxytocin.

 

Those eligible must be trainees registered for the WCNH meeting and presenting posters. Postdoctoral fellows must have received their Ph.D. no earlier than 2019. Interested parties should send an electronic application (single PDF) consisting of:

 

  • Their submitted abstract

  • Two letters of recommendation, one of which must be from the mentor, the other from an established scientist.
